The Challenge

The ShoeLada needed a bundle-friendly Shopify store that converted sneakerheads on care kits and refills. The sneaker care category is consumed by community — buyers who see care routines on YouTube or Instagram arrive with specific product questions and strong opinions about what they need. A storefront that presented individual products without contextualizing them within a care routine missed the primary way buyers in this category think about purchasing. The subscribe-and-save opportunity on cleaning solution refills was completely untapped, despite refill repurchase being a natural and predictable behavior for regular sneaker care.

The theme was built with a bold, sneaker-culture visual aesthetic that matched the community's energy rather than defaulting to a clinical cleaning product look. Recharge subscribe-and-save was implemented on cleaning solution SKUs with a refill reminder email sequence timed to typical consumption cycle.
